Deka Records proudly announces the signing of our very first celebrity to the label! Jazz McCoy (J.Swagg) is the artist formerly known as KID JAZZ from ICE T's monumental Super-Group, RHYME SYNDICATE! The 1988 Warner Brother's release "Comin' Through", contains an incredible four minute-plus barrage of freestyle rhymes from SWAGG (You Haven't Heard Nothing), & is the most memorable track from the album! In addition, he was also the winner of The 1990 NMS Freestyle Battle & has worked with legendary & often mystical producer KURTIS MANTRONIK. In 2011 SWAGG has solidified a brotherly-like bond with Deka Flagship Artist & VP of A & R, THIEF DA HIGH PRIEST & is ready to prove to the Hip-Hop World that The Starvin' Artist has only grown hungrier through the years! Currently involved in a war of words with a former Syndicate partner, SWAGG pulls no punches on the scathing EAT 'EM UP SWAGG dis song which is jaw-dropping to say the least! Be prepared for a new full-length album to drop this fall from a true Industry Icon that we are proud to have on our roster! Deka, Swagg, & Thief....we mean Music Business!!!
